Ideas Festival, March 24 to 29 (2009)Brisbane, Australia

From March 24 to 29 (2009), the State Library of Queensland will be the hub of conversation, innovation and participation. The Ideas Festival will bring leading thinkers, innovators, young people, students and the general community together to celebrate and debate ideas that matter.Ideas to action is the motto of the Ideas Festival as it looks for new ideas and creative solutions that will emerge as tools for a richer life.
A marketplace of ideas from every creative field, the festival will show how innovation, creativity and collaboration across disciplines can create a brighter future.
Taking place as part of Queensland’s 150th celebrations, the Ideas Festival examines:

• Ecology and Ethics
• Advocacy and Action
• Self and Society
